How I work
I enjoy building systems from the ground up. My work spans enterprise consulting, business applications, software products and independent engineering projects.
- 01Engineering simplicity
- 02System architecture
- 03Practical solutions
- 04Maintainability
- 05Product thinking

B / How I work with AI
AI is a development tool, not a replacement for engineering judgment
I use AI throughout my workflow, in the same way I use any capable tool: where it helps, and with its output treated as a proposal until I have checked it. It changes how quickly I can work. It does not change who is accountable for the result.
Where AI helps
- Accelerate developmentReduce the time spent on routine and repetitive implementation.
- Explore alternativesCompare architectural options before committing to one.
- Draft implementationsProduce a first version to review, correct and build on.
- Refine technical designsTest a design by challenging its assumptions and edge cases.
- Investigate problemsTrace unfamiliar behavior through code, logs and documentation.
- Assist documentationKeep technical documents in step with what was actually built.
- Support iterationShorten the loop between a change, its check and the next change.
What I remain responsible for
- Architecture
- Technical decisions
- Code quality
- Validation
- System behavior
- Maintainability
- Final implementation
